About the Image(s)

Last week I decided to head to Montreal for the elite women's and men's UCI world cycling road championships. These were brutal races of attrition as the race finished with multiple laps fo a hilly circuit. I positioned myself for the podium ceremony of the women's top three finishers. On the top step stood the Dutch racer - Demi Vollering. Just after the award ceremony the entire Dutch squad, who rode the front for most of the day, picked up Demi to celebrate the joy of winning the rainbow jersey. This was a very special moments as the photographers rushed the stage. I was behind the fence and caught the scene.
My OM1 Mark 2 held the 12-100 f4 lens @ 100mm set in aperature priority mode. Settings include shutter 1/250 sec, f5.6, iso 200 and - O.3 EV. Image was processed in LR and cropped slightly.
