On the tall building in front of the right, I have been there. I look forward to going again, and also take a ferry to share the current beauty of the two sides of the strait.   Posted: 06/10/2022 06:20:53

A well timed shot with the statue of liberty to the left and the Staten Island ferry to the right. Both iconic symbols of New York and of course the skyline in the background. I wonder if the staten Island Ferry is still a nickel, it was for decades as I recall.   Posted: 06/20/2022 10:53:03

The Staten Island Ferry is now FREE! We have learned in our travels to stay on Staten Island where hotels are less expensive. In at least 2015 you could park your car in a nearby garage if the ferry terminal was full for $8/day and ride the ferry for free! What a bargain!   Posted: 06/20/2022 17:55:39

I can't remember for certain, but I think that view is from another ferry passing the statue and the one in the photo.   Posted: 06/20/2022 17:56:56
