I do not have a fisheye lens, but I like the concept. The image seems a little blurry on each end (right, left) to my eyes. Perhaps this is the way a fisheye lens treats the subject.
The reflections of the interior light a distracting to me. Placing the camera lens directly on the glass (if that were possible at the location) may have reduced or eliminated them. Probably a circular polarizer won't fit over a fisheye lens, but that would also help to eliminate the reflections.   Posted: 06/13/2022 16:24:06

Zhicai, fish eye photography is not allowed in PTD because of the distortion created as you can see in your own image. Obviously, the image was shot through a glass window on an illuminated room (the only way to avoid the reflections is to have a dark room, or to put the lens flat against the glass) The subject photographed is very interesting cityscape from a very high vantage point   Posted: 06/17/2022 09:40:06

As I recall the definition, extreme distortion is what is not acceptable with that caused by a fish eye as an example. This would probably be a judgement call in an exhibition. The reflections off the glass would probably seriously also result in a low score. I consider this a good shot to include in a story of your trip which can have significant value to you, but I would not enter it in an exhibition.   Posted: 06/20/2022 10:50:41

Zhicai, interesting panorama. I wonder if any of us stayed in the same hotel room during our visit to this Shanghai location?   Posted: 06/20/2022 15:51:15
