I have gotten an offline comment that I should have included a picture without the woman waving because she becomes the focus. I would be interested in what you think... - I do have other photos without a woman waving but they have a closet in the middle of the picture. Inappropriate. Looks like a wonderful spot to spend some time soaking. I think I would prefer to not have the woman waving. Sort of detracts from the subdued colors and dreamy steam in the intimate scene. Love the hazy rocks in the background.

In these shots it is difficult to remain "invisible". If you got the same images without the woman it would be stronger as a "street"image. The light and mist are terrific, making the atmosphere of the place really standout.
As I look at it, I wonder if a severe crop would work; taking off most of the right, leaving the waving woman. And taking a lot of the sky. The bright sky doesn't do much for the lovely geothermal pool.   Posted: 05/25/2025 04:24:41
