About the Image(s)
These para gliders were taking full advantage of the thermals on a sunny day in Queenstown, NZ. With the Remarkable Mountains in the background these enthusiasts flew into the harbor area with an effortless ease.

This is an interesting background and the flyers help add interest to the beautiful scenery. It is a great subject, but if possible, it would be better to wait until the gliders are closer so they are larger in the picture. Because half of this picture is blue sky, consider cropping the top part: glider and sky out, so that only the two bottom gliders show. This might emphasize the gliders better instead of mainly a blue sky. The cloud helps to make the picture, but otherwise it could be cropped out to emphasize gliders (consider both ways). The focus and lighting are excellent, as well as the beautiful scenery.   Posted: 05/16/2025 16:29:32

Good colors, contrast and focus. Sort of agree with Susan that the top fourth could be cropped for better composition. What a beautiful spot.   Posted: 05/16/2025 16:36:18
