September 2026 - Blue Cliff Buddhas

A Thich Nhat Hanh retreat center in New York state is entitled Blue Cliff. They have some statues of meditating Buddhas outside in different sitting positions and mudras. This particular day the view of the Buddhas was foggy and enticing and I enjoyed the calmness that it invoked.

One correction I note here is that the focus could be better on the Buddhas. The camera was not fast enough. But I love the photo so am including it anyway... Posted: 09/13/2026 11:32:47
