This is a very nice shot. I couldn't make out what was being served. I would open the shadows up on the prey. The bottom of the nest looks strange - probably processing artifacts. If you can't get rid of the artifacts, at least darken the problem a bit.   Posted: 06/11/2025 14:06:28
Very nice action and story here. I hesitate to say, it could use an even tighter crop as you don't need to much of the sky or the tree, and all that space makes the birds small in the frame.
It's usually best to upscale as your first step. I use DXO Pure Raw for this, which then sends the dng file directly to CR, where I do most of my editing. You can train it to use LR instead. I believe this step can be repeated if you have to upscale it severely.

I tried using TOPAZ gigapixel. But never seem to work for me ..   Posted: 06/21/2025 17:16:49
The bird seems to me a little flat. I would suggest a slight adjustment to exposure or dynamic range in post-processing could bring out more detail in the whites and grays of the Osprey. The Osprey on the nest is less sharp and a bit darker, making it harder to discern clearly...exposure balance in post-processing might help. Nice Work.   Posted: 06/21/2025 17:49:31
