About the Image(s)

I shot this at 8:30 AM at the end of April.
I like the shot because it shows a bit of action, has interesting color and also shows the unusual feet of the American Coot. I doubt that this image would do well in competition because the wetlands have green scum in the water and didn’t produce perfect reflections. Coots are not a popular bird like an eagle and they don’t have flashy colors
