About the Image(s)
This image from my recent Africa trip has been quickly gaining acceptances. Shot during an interlude between mating sessions, the apparent interaction between the lion and lioness suggests that he is nagging at her and she has had enough. In truth, she is squinting against the constant insects bussing her eyes and he is merely yawning next to her. It's an image that makes people smile at first glance, and as the judges scroll through they can relate to it even if they are not "nature people."
