Lighting Conditions: Late summer evening after sunset, golden hour
Where and When Port Aransas, Texas USA. Gulf of Mexico coast south east of San Antonio TX. 11 September 2024 6 PM local time. This image was taken while on a road trip to photograph lighthouses. The pirate ship was an unexpected addition! Timing, timing, timing!
Post-Processing: In Lightroom: enabled lens profile, remove chromatic aberration, straightened & cropped, adjusted blacks, whites, shadows, highlights, increased exposure, then adjusted dehaze, clarity, adjusted contrast, vibrance & saturation to view the image as seen by the eye. In lightroom for Topaz denoise/sharpening.

Just looking at the pictures without looking at the introduction, the ship is like a pirate ship in a movie. I wonder if it engages in pirate operations as soon as it sets sail?   Posted: 10/22/2024 06:53:27
