I bet if you tried taking a photo of this with your "big" camera you would have had alot of trouble with lighting. This is a beautiful view looking down the valley toward the monastery with everything so well exposed. The iphones take fabulous photos. Nice job.   Posted: 05/11/2024 11:35:36

I have mixed feelings about the iPhone, but I have used it at Longwood Gardens etc. under low light situations when my Canon does not do well. And the phone cameras get better and better. I enjoy working with images from my Canon camera and there are times the quality of photos from there are better quality.

I was at the Monserrat Monastery many years ago when Barcelona was the first place in Europe I explored. I like all the levels of this photo from the distant mountains to the funicular on the tracks. Very well done.   Posted: 05/15/2024 22:05:03

The monastery nestled among the rocks is really spectacular ... and with the funicular leading up to it. The use of cool tones in the background and warm ones in the foreground is an effective artistic device to add a sense of three-dimensional depth to an image.   Posted: 05/19/2024 13:26:17
