October 2024 - Prague skyline

About the Image(s)

We went to visit Prague in 2014. There were many opportunities for images. This is the skyline taken from the first bridge South of the skyline. . It was cropped and adjusted in LR. D90, 18-200, 1/500, f11, ISO250.

Interested in the image since I am visiting this month. A couple of sensor spots in the sky?   Posted: 10/03/2024 01:11:19

This is a nice photo of the Prague skyline with reflections. I don't have any suggestions. The above mentioned spots in the sky are tiny but should be fixed.

Nice skyline of Prague with the castle in the hill. Would the Charles Bridge be on the right? Nice lighting on the buildings.   Posted: 10/19/2024 14:05:54

A well exposed image of Prague though a little "soft" in focus, the riverbank seems to be not level so I straightened that and cropped some sky from the top to make the castle more dominant.   Posted: 10/20/2024 15:28:46

I usually straighten buildings vs shore line which is not straight. I do like your tweek.   Posted: 10/21/2024 14:23:27

A nice panorama of an impressive Prague skyline. I find there is a little loss of detail in the shadows. I've tried to open them up a bit, and I also cropped out the bright regions at the left edge that tend to lead the viewer's eyes out of the image.   Posted: 10/24/2024 05:42:49

I like Sukumar's suggestions to lighten the loss of detail and to crop off the first l/4 inch of light that was distracting. Also I think David's crop and straightening helped the image. Very nice.   Posted: 10/26/2024 15:46:32

It is nice being last to comment:-) I agree with the above comments. I love the reflections. Prague is one of my favorite cities after 5 or so visits there. I agree about cropping on the left. The city has so much to see and photograph. Trips to nearby Kutna Hora and Vysehrad are worthwhile.   Posted: 10/26/2024 19:06:33
