I took this somewhere along Route 66, probably in AZ. I used a Nikon D300 with a 18-270 Tamron lens at = 37mm. SS was 1/500, ISO 250 and aperture f 11. I love old stuff so this caught my eye. It is a bit busy, but that is the way things are on this old, famous route. I think it is PT, but who knows what judges would think?

This brings back good memories of Route 66! At first glance I thought, "too busy," but I quickly realized that this is how it is in many places along 66! I'm wondered if the great old car is too much in the middle but, in a way, it the main subject and works. I think this is travel and after some thoughts as expressed above, I really like this image. Judy, Great photo. Yes, it is busy, but that is what makes this picture, all the "stuff" in the background. I don't know how you could have shot this by relocating the car in the frame, without leaving out some of the interesting "stuff". This is definitely photo travel. Wonderful texture and color. Judy, I love this image and yes, it might have been nice to have the car moved off center but we can't always do that. I suppose you could have moved somewhat to get a different view of it but then all the great background "stuff" would be lost. Certainly it is a PT image. Nice job. Posted: 10/26/2024 15:40:26
