A well composed photograph showing us the river Danube, some examples of Hungarian architecture, and you stirred some pleasant memories of mine walking across that chain bridge with my camera! A fine submission Rich.   Posted: 01/22/2025 15:46:34

Having just been in Budapest in November, I can relate to this image as it captures the essence of the Hungarian capital. The bridge is a nice leading line to the buildings behind, and draws my eye to them. My photos were a little starker in November with little greenery.   Posted: 01/23/2025 08:11:57

I like your vantage point and the bridge leads use right across the Danube and to the architecture of Budapest. My first trip to Budapest was part of a tour of Eastern Europe, but those images are on slides:-(. The other time was part of a cruise on the Danube. Tours do limit what one sees and can get to. Well done and a nice memory of your trip.   Posted: 01/25/2025 12:03:06

A nice composition, and very appropriate as a travel image. The image is a little soft. I'd try sharpening it, and brightening up the shadows a little - the fronts of the buildings being in the shade detracts somewhat from the impact.   Posted: 01/25/2025 21:07:41

I like this photo of the bridge that leads to and from Budapest. I was there many years ago and we went to an opera and neglected to write down the name of our hotel. We eventually found it!!!
The yellow cars/taxis stand out but they don't detract. My eye goes to them and moves around the photo. A good composition and definitely a travel photo!
I just reread Sukamar's suggestions and think brightening the shadows is worth a try.

I really like the composition of the image and it certainly is a photo travel image. I agree that brightening and sharpening the image would really improve the image though. The bridge could use some brightening too. Nice shot.   Posted: 01/30/2025 23:16:49
