The Manx Electric Railway (MER) runs on the east coast of the Isle of Man from Ramsey to Douglas. There are many tiny hamlets on the route with request train stops, and this one at Ballajora is a typical example. Residents take great pride in adorning their "train stations" with floral pots as well as keeping the area clean and tidy.
