About the Image(s)
This was taken on November 14, 2019 at 6:51 AM in Kaunakakai, Hawaii. I was part of a photo workshop held on Moloka’i which is the fifth-largest Hawaiian island. It is known as “The Most Hawaiian Island" for its strong native culture, rural atmosphere and lack of commercial development. There are no traffic lights and just a few resorts. It was wonderful and I signed up for a second workshop but I had a leak in my house and had to cancel.
There was formerly a leper colony on Molokai. A few cured residents have chosen to stay.
