About the Image(s)

Since we also visited Japan in the past and were able to be at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto, and without overwhelming tourists, I was able to create a few images of the site, and from different vantage points that I am sharing with you. All the images were done with a Nikon D500 and the Nikkor Zoom lens 12-24 mm f/4 and using different exposures, some with bracketing and processed as HDR in LightRoom and cropped.

Good variety of compositions using different vantage points. All images are sharp. Original-2 has good gradual blurring. A man in the frame of Orignal-3 added beauty to the frame. I liked the main frame the most. Only I would have preferred people little further ahead. Not because of 1/3rd composition rule, but visually I felt it , so   Posted: 03/12/2026 10:52:39
