October 2024 - Mission San Xavier del Bac

About the Image(s)

Camera: SONY ILCE-7M3 (Full Frame Mirrorless
Lens: FE 28-70mm F 3.5-5.6 OSS
Focal Length: 55 mm
Exposure: 1/250 sec; f/11; ISO 100
Handheld

Processing: Lightroom adjustments, TOPAZ AI for denoise and sharpening; NIK collection Silver Efex Pro to convert to monochrome.

During the PSA Photo Festival we took a tour to the Mission San Xavier del Bac, on the Tohono O’odham Nation reservation near Tucson, Arizona. We were there late afternoon, and left about twenty minutes before sunset. The clouds were particularly vibrant at that time. I like the photo in sepia-tone even better than grayscale. But that's not allowed in photo travel.

Wonderful sky. The sunlight coming in at a 45 degree angle makes the detail of the facade of the church really stand out. I like the composition with the church off center.   Posted: 10/12/2024 12:06:15

I love how you captured the image with the beautiful cloud, converted it using the NIK collection Silver, and made it more outstanding in monochrome.   Posted: 10/17/2024 10:28:53
