Our family visited our daughter, who is spending this year living with her family in the small Mexican town of Guanajuato. The whole town is decorated for Christmas, and people are out in the streets to celebrate and enjoy food, rides and fun for days. In this photo, I captured the sound and light show on the Cathedral in the city center. The carousel is in the streets and people stopped to watch the show being put on the Cathedral walls.

Nice image of some kind of festival or celebration. To me this image would have more impact if it were shot from down on the ground and the primary focus was on the carousel and the area around it. Posted: 01/17/2026 10:05:15

Very colorful image! You captured the festivity of the occasion! Amazing that you had so much light for a night time shot. I feel like there are two images in this photo: I would rather see either the whole church facade with the tent top, or get somewhat lower for a full shot of the tent and the people beneath.
