About the Image(s)
I took photos of the inauguration scene for about 45 minutes. This location is just off Metro Center. I tried to find as high of perch as possible. Perhaps you can help with cropping and if I ought to have selected the other photo. Photos were taken on OM1 Mark2 with 40-150mm f2.8 at 1/125 sec, f5.6, iso 200 and plus 0.3 EV. This venue made it difficult to capture the same iconic images like from the Mall.

Both images are great. But, I feel the one you chose captures the energy of the event. The crowd jammed together, happy to be there to share the historic moment. The word "smile" in the background gives the photo an element of joy. Posted: 02/03/2025 09:54:19
