About the Image(s)
This photograph was captured during my visit to Vizag Beach Colony, a serene coastal island located about 200 kilometers from Hyderabad, India. The island is known for its unspoiled shoreline, scenic landscapes, and the constant rhythm of fishermen going about their daily lives.
I made this image in the final moments before sunset, just as the fishermen were wrapping up their day’s work. The scene was incredibly captivating — the warm hues of the setting sun reflecting on the water, the quiet stillness of the anchored boat, and the silhouette of a fisherman completing his task. The harmony between light, water, and human presence instantly drew my attention, and I instinctively captured the frame.
For me, this image represents the quiet dignity of daily labor and the poetic calm that settles in once the day’s work is done.

A small improvement could be giving a bit more space between the sun and the boat for a cleaner composition.
Overall, it's a peaceful scene that captures the rhythm of daily life by the sea.   Posted: 03/09/2026 18:30:00
