About the Image(s)

This total solar eclipse lasted over 3 minutes, and even though it was the middle of a bright sunny day, there was only dim light like you may see after sunset. As I looked around at the weird light, I saw this remarkable sight of eclipse viewers standing transfixed like manikins. They stood there silent and motionless, all holding their solar glasses the same way, some with their mouths hanging wide open.

Used a Canon EOS 60D with 15-85mm lens at 15mm. ISO 1250, 1/40sec, f3.5.
