On a trip to China, we took a junk on a narrow, backwater river. Local houses had steps leading down to the river, where it appeared that local junks and other small craft could dock and tie up. On one set of steps, we came upon this woman doing her laundry.

Great example of an HI image. Very focused point of interest with the woman washing. There is some face showing but of course more is better but often that is not available! I like how there is a minimum of distracting elements. Posted: 01/14/2026 10:38:35
