Ettal is on the road down the mountain from Oberammergau to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany. It is a good place to stop for lunch. The monks make great beer and the food is excellent. Taken with Canon Eos 5Dsr, F8.0, ISO 640 with a Cannon 24-105mm lens @ 24mm.

Another perfect symettry shot. You can tell it is perfect by counting the windows coming out the wings on the left and right. Cut in the middle of the 4th window on both sides. I also like the room you gave it on the top and the way you just left a little pavement in front of the curb on the bottom. Well constructed composiion of a unique and beautiful building. A wonderful building well captured in this image Dennis. The path is guiding the eye to the door of the main building. The human wearing a red coat is helping to provide a sense of scale. My only impression is that the image like sharpness. It may be very possible this is due to the compression required for posting the images on this forum, so this may not be a real issue.
