About the Image(s)

This was taken in February when we had a day on the island (perfectly safe and interesting birdlife). We always visit a fish market if there is one: this was tiny, two people in an open outside area right by the sea and small boats. This chap was an interesting character and I was luck to get a smiling shot with some action by him. The lighting conditions were harsh and I’ve tried to control the light area up top as much as I can, as well as darken down the writing at the top which would detract - See original file as taken.

Settings - Taken using my Olympus wildlife gear (as this was my main focus of the day) including a 100-400 lens taken at 140mm (so 280 FF) 1/250 f6.3 ISO 800. PP in Lightroom locally of the chap, then locally for the fish area, then background.

I will use this within PTD People Themed where they exist (where I am now limited to 3 Acceptances max per Title) and PIDC, particularly for Themed sections of People or Life.
