Young Mundhari men from South Sudan rest beside their cattle after a day of grazing. To protect themselves and their animals from insects, they burn cow dung, using the smoke as a natural repellent. The ash is also applied to their skin and to the horns of their cattle for both practical and decorative purposes. This picture is from Feb 2024
