This was taken on the grounds of the Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. I was very moved by the intensity of the man praying and clinging to this statue of Buddha.

An example of a travel image doing a great job of documenting culture and ritual with emotion. Another excellent PTD Documentary image.
