About the Image(s)

We were walking along the streets of Spiti Valley in India when we met this man. He was blind, yet he was walking alone, apparently on his way somewhere. I took his photograph, with his permission, of course.

I included the range of hills in the background to turn the portrait into an environmental portrait. I feel that his attire and the Himalayan landscape in the background convey a strong sense of the region and its people, so fits well with the PT theme.
