October 2026 - Berlin wall
About the Image(s)
Taken in Berlin in November, this photograph explores the enduring idea of division. While the Berlin Wall no longer stands as a physical barrier, social and economic divides remain deeply present. The colorful murals give life to the remnants of the Wall, while a solitary figure beside a blank section evokes the paradox of loneliness in a hyperconnected age. Beyond the Wall, the modern skyline serves as a reminder that new forms of separation continue to shape contemporary society.

The diagonal composition, along with the addition of the man to the frame, enhances the storytelling value of the image. You were also lucky to get a sky with such patterns.
Overall, a nice travel image!   Posted: 10/08/2026 03:38:23
