Two holidays in the United States are Halloween and Thanksgiving. Halloween, on October 31, is a holiday when pumpkins are carved and children go door-to-door in costumes, asking for candy. Thanksgiving, on November 26, is when we celebrate the fall harvest. This pumpkin, exhibited at the Chicago Botanic Garden in October 2025, was one of many pumpkins on display carved by professional artists. This photo represents both holidays.
