Beautiful, Shirley and I are going there in May, planned for last September but the place was burning.

I think this is a prime example of a rock formation that is so unique that it definitely has a sense of place. I am sure if I had ever been there I would recognize it immediately. The colors, reflection and composition in general are great. The image has a feeling of a great deal of depth with the reflection foreground, the rock itself middle and the sea and far off shore.   Posted: 12/05/2020 18:50:12

I love the colors of the sky and the highlights on the rock moss and the reflection in the water. The right side of the rock I can detect the head and face of a proud American Indian. Subtle yes but I do see it.   Posted: 12/07/2020 20:46:35

The colors are beautiful, as is the reflection. The composition is excellent. I have no suggestions for improvement!   Posted: 12/08/2020 15:38:32

A lovely image Dennis and being such a unique shape, this must conform to Travel rules. It is the sky that makes it of course and I very much like the way the rock seems to pointing to the sky!
Your PP is believable in terms of I am sure the sky was a lovely as this. My only suggestion is to very slightly lighten the shadows in the rock shadow - doing it enough just to show some detail without creating a HDR effect.   Posted: 12/13/2020 06:00:33

Yes, and that sky is reflected in the still water behind the sand from the ocean. What an opportunity that you capitalized on for a great photo travel shot.   Posted: 12/14/2020 02:38:16
