June 2022 - Lobster Docks
About the Image(s)
This was taken at Port Clyde, a lobster fishing village on the central Maine coast. It was taken before sunrise and the lobster docks were illuminated by the lights of a boat that had just picked up lobster traps. It was a 7 exposure bracketed shot at f/11 and ISO 200.

Dennis, great light creating a super mood. The image is sharp. The presence of all the lobster traps on the pier gives us a pretty good idea of the region and trade of the area. The reflections in the water improves the image   Posted: 06/11/2022 16:11:51

Super light and wonderful water reflection. I doubt this place ever looks better than what you captured. Well done.   Posted: 06/20/2022 10:20:03
Dennis, this is an image made very interesting by your excellent choice of lightening. An evening sky manufacturing varying degrees of light and dark is cast on an interest scene.   Posted: 06/20/2022 15:34:25
You're obviously a 'before breakfast' shooter Dennis and this has transformed what would probably be a very ordinary shot, into a very interesting one. I love the stack of coloured pots, brought to life somehow by the listing. Well done.   Posted: 06/27/2022 10:32:31
