During a recent trip to Peru, I was able to visit an isolated village in the Sacred Valley. Their major source of income was weaving and we were able to enjoy a Peruvian meal with them. .Post processing included cropping and film enhancement

Color and framing are both good, but the image seems not to be fully sharp, possibly due to the depth of field given by your settings. Maybe it's my eyes; it looks just a tad bit blurry. I would have cropped it a bit better to remove some of the dead space at the top of the image. Posted: 04/01/2025 05:49:50

I think the blur is more caused by the depth-of-field issues as per the settings. I wails assume, and I may be wrong, but Ed used automatic settings for ISO, f-stop and shutter, leaving the camera to make the decision. while the camera may have "thought" that those settings were optional, they did produce a slight blur of the figures in the background. You may recall I posted a picture of lemurs some months ago where there was that ever-so-slight blur that was picked up. Same issue. Great travel photo revealing characteristics of the people. I think the slight blur could be due to the slow shutter chosen by the camera since this is an indoor image with less optimal lights. Nevertheless, this is a good story telling image. Posted: 04/10/2025 18:58:12
