Must be great to witness this. I like the action, the wrinkled face and hands of the old woman and the facial expression of the two women. This could be entered into a Photojournalism exhibition. the top of the face of the woman in the left lower corner is a bit distracting. It can't be cropped out but it could be dodged.   Posted: 06/02/2025 15:35:44

Native Tibetans will perform coras ( circling around a temple ), at many times with some genuflecting as in this image . It is a sight to see. With this image, Think you might have stepped back to get a larger view of the crowd genuflecting, although that may have detracted from capturing the expressions of the women in the forefront, which create a focus of attraction. I agree with 'Tom's comments, although given the crowd I don't see how you could have avoided the somewhat distracting woman in the lower left.   Posted: 06/03/2025 06:16:04

Story telling pic. After reading the narration, I can imagine what a picturesque event it must be. A great opportunity to capture hundreds of PT/ PJ shots. Good capture of old lady collecting food items, her wrinkled face, her expressions, even the expressions of the lady next to her.

But I found the composition too tight, cutting the faces of LHS ladies abruptly. I know , I understand that capturing exactly what we want is difficult in such crowded place but still.   Posted: 06/06/2025 07:36:15

Mandy I think you captured the emotionality of the event by highlighting the facial expression on the ladies.   Posted: 06/07/2025 10:51:48

Tom, why do yo say it can not be cropped? I see no problem, and in fact makes the image more intimate to the two ladies in the front, and takes away the amputated distractions.   Posted: 06/07/2025 14:42:50

Thank you all for your construction comments. It was a very big scene and with many people. With the heavy treasure (walnuts) from roof top which can damage camera gear, I stayed against the wall in front of a close door. When there were money flowing, I was pushed to fall inside the room with a firing stove. When I have a chance to get to my hard drive, I will post the original image or may be a different angle next month.   Posted: 06/09/2025 11:52:18
