September 2026 - Pashmina Sheep with Shepherd

The photo was captured in Ladakh, the northernmost region of India. The shepherds of Ladakh live a rugged life, tending their flocks across the vast, high-altitude landscapes. Guided by generations of knowledge, they move with the seasons in search of pasture and water.
The cloud formation at b/g made my photo, I thought.
Exif : f 11, 1/1600 ( to capture the running sheep sharp). ISO 640 Canon 6D with 24-105 lens

Vinaya, this is a striking image. Yes, you're right, the clouds do indeed make the image. Everything is in focus and you were able to capture the entire herd with the shepherd and the outline of the lake. the hills in the background are relatively clear and your image centered perfectly with the rocks in the foreground.
