Absolutely love this-great concept and shot. You might want to give a bit more room on the left if you have it, and maybe bring down the highlights in the upper right corner with a radial or linear gradient.   Posted: 11/17/2025 17:30:25

The short answer is "no." Especially radiant, but if the judges suspect you used a linear gradient you will receive a low score.
In any case, I feel the bright area enhances the scene and it would look weird to subdue the light source too much.

I like this image more from a pictorial POV than as a Nature image. I think it might do well in Monochrome as well. Then, you can expand it to our left even if you don't have the extra in your original image.
