I captured this image through the window of the snow coach while going from Monmouth to Snow Lodge in Yellowstone. My OM1 Mark2 with the 150-400 mm Pro @378 mm captured the image at 1/320 sec, f4.5, iso 2000 and +0.3EV. My point of view is higher than ideal shooting down to the river below. Sometimes you just have to push the shutter or get nothing at all.

If you crop vertical you will draw more attention to the talons which seem to be blurry. Posted: 01/16/2026 18:39:24
