It is so difficult to focus in a tangle of branches. You managed to find a spot where the eyes could be seen. You could try to selectively sharpen the face - especially the eyes.   Posted: 06/11/2025 13:34:26
Nice! I'll try. Thx   Posted: 06/11/2025 14:23:43

Taking the shot through the visual clutter adds a certain amount of realism. You captured a rather intense animal expression. Colors are good but lighting is overall a little flat.   Posted: 06/17/2025 15:56:09

It's unusual to see a photo of a tiger like this, and it really works for me. I love the focus on the eyes, and if you brightened them a bit to make them "pop," it works.
I also like the tree on our left, how it frames him. Due to the overall brush, the tree growing out of his head doesn't bother me. If you have it, I'd like a little more space beneath him, to allow for the implied feet not to be cut off.
While I usually try for exactly the ratio you showed here, I feel like a tighter crop might better serve the image. 4x3 is still a clear horizontal, and to my eye it puts more emphasis on the presence of the cat. See what you think.

Hi Luiz,
I'm conflicted on how I feel about shooting thru a tangle of branches. I like the 3x4 crop by Lillian, and the suggestion to make the eyes sharper. I'm just don't love shooting thru the vines view.   Posted: 06/25/2025 10:27:41

Good job of capturing the tiger in its element. I agree with the comments about the eyes and crop.   Posted: 06/25/2025 10:38:06
A rare shot of a tiger. People tend to click fully exposed tigers. This is a habitat shot and a good one too.   Posted: 06/28/2025 01:37:22
