The aggressor usually covers his eye when attacking. Notice the bit of blue on the wings of the chicken being attacked. It’s 6:00 AM in mid April and the sun is just rising. The blue is the portion of the wing that is in shadow

Absolutely love this. My only comment is about the blue. I understand that it is in the shadows, but it is an aberration of the camera vs our brain and I would tone it down. Posted: 09/09/2025 09:03:53
