About the Image(s)

I made this image at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Samburu Kenya. The elephants love to cover themselves in black mud and then play in the red dirt at the camp. We spent 3 wonderful days there watching the antics of the rescued elephants ages 2 weeks to 10 years old. They are eventually taken to another camp to acclimate to their environment and released to the wild. Taken with my Nikon Z8 and Nikon 24 to 120 lens at 1/2000 sec, f/5 and ISO 320. Processed in Lightroom.
