About the Image(s)
I caught this Yellow-billed stork walking along the bank of a stream. It would flit from place to place. Taken with my Nikon Z 9 and my 600PF lens at f 6.3, 1/2000 sec and 4500 ISO with a -033 EV. Processed with Lightroom.

The image is nicely exposed despite the huge DR in the composition. You have managed the highlights (white feathers) really well...I did not see any blowouts. The bird's position with the wings lifted and the right foot up adds to the action/story.
I do think the background is too sharp and a bit distracting. Looks like the bird was close to a cliff/riverbank.   Posted: 01/18/2026 21:43:46

You caught a nice wing position. Overall impression is a bird in motion. Well done.   Posted: 01/19/2026 17:34:19
