Sajeev Krishnan
Hi, I'm born and brought up in Kerala, India, popularly known as God's own country! A structural engineer by profession and a photographer by passion. After my post graduation in structural engineering I worked in India, Malaysia , UAE and now for the last 15 years working in Qatar.
I started my photography journey with a borrowed Yashica Point & Shoot film Camera just to capture the moments and document the places that I used to travel. Although during the early few years of mine, neither I knew nor I paid attention to artistic perspectives such as composition and light, thus, wasted many years of my life just clicking generic documentary shots. However, as I came in contact with a few eminent photographers across the world through social media and photography portals such as Flickr, 500px, I was amazed by the images they have created. That spiked an ignition within me to learn how can I too create such images. I started joining local workshops and watching YouTube videos to nurture myself and finally to calm down and think through the composition and various angles before pressing the shutter while on spot. I am more into wildlife though I like other streams too such as astro and street photography.
During this journey of mine, I gradually upgraded my gears from Nikon D40x to D500 and finally D4. Mirrorless camera will be the ultimate aim. However I am fully satisfied with my current gears.

James Nelson
Most of my photography career was centered on fashion and portrait photography. In retirement, I have developed an interest in nature photography, particularly wildlife. I live in the Pacific Northwest so I have fairly good access to nature photography opportunities. I am not very competition oriented but I certainly appreciate critique and feedback. The rules for the Nature Division are more in tune with my approach to wildlife than some camera clubs I have been a member of. Reality seemed to take a back seat too often. I am sure that I have much to learn about what is allowed in post processing but I expect I can meet the criteria for many of my photos.
