Denoise in DxO Photo Lab 8, LR adjustments to color balance, opened shadows and darkened highlights globally, sharpened slightly. Square crop was chosen to minimize background distractions on what is essentially a family portrait.

At about 5 months old, it was a school day for this cub of year. The very patient sow demonstrated clam digging techniques repeatedly.. We watched this pair long enough to see the cub eventually find a clam on his own.
