Dear collegues from study group, I would like to thank you very much for all the help improving my photos..
After 20 years of membership I decided to leave PSA. There are many reasons:
Devaluation of exhibitions. Years ago you have got catalogue and look at the accepted images. Now many organizers publish just awards and a list of acceptances. So exhibitions are not show of good photographs any more. They became a purpose unto itself and tool for getting PSA or FIAP titles.
Due to high number of exhibitions, many judges have just title PPSA or less. How can they judge the quality of photos? I have one example, when I've got Gold PSA medal for a photo, but on other salons of the same circuit the same photo was even not accepted. PSA should make order.
Similar situation is with Photojournalism, Nature and Travel division, that have special rules. No judge should judge these divisions if he doesn't have at least one Star on those divisions. Also for this is guilty PSA.
For using publications in PJ division, there are some rules, that can be interpreted so or another way. I have some examples, where the publications were good in the year 2022, but now the same are not. And the officer is the same person. Its too much subjective.
PSA Journal had many educational articles years ago. Now it's full of advertisements and news from PSA.
Nature Study group was closed this year. No one cares.

Due to these reasons I've made my decision.
