Why I took this image:
Description: I have been doing nothing but basketball, football and volleyball pictures when my favorite sport is baseball. Here in State2 College we lost our minor league team even though we have a wonderful stadium. This shot is from a Penn State college game. To me it shows all the elements of what I look for in a baseball image. It has action, good facial expressions, nice blurred background, no under the cap shadow, an umpire and an infielder at a proper distance to show it is not just practice. A batter would be nice but we all now that would not be possible..
