Location: Rec Hall, Penn State University, University Park PA

On November 23 John and I witnessed Penn State play Maryland in women's volleyball. Kennedy Martin, a 6'6" Junior, came to Penn State via the transfer portal from Florida, and is making quite an impact. The team won the match in 3 sets that day. Last year the women's volleyball team won the National Championship. This year they struggled, barely making the playoffs. As I write this they are scheduled to play Texas, a #1 seed, in the second round tonight.

A good volleyball shot. I'm assuming Kennedy Martin is #18. It is a good image of her. The back view of the player in red in the foreground is the only quibble. Again, with volleyball, that is always the challenge.   Posted: 12/17/2025 21:59:39
