About the Image(s)
The attached photo was taken at the WCHA quarterfinals this past weekend. The Gophers won their regular season conference championship, and played St Thomas Tommies again in the quarterfinals for the WCHA Final Face off. That tournament will be this coming weekend.
Here they are making a goal in a game they won 5-1.

Great action shot showing the catcher trying to capture the visible ball. Background players add to the story showing one player left side on his toes trying to see if his team mate is home.   Posted: 05/16/2022 03:28:55

This is a nice action shot of the runner scoring a run [not a goal]. The catcher seems to be a little soft. Is it depth of field blur? Can you share the image data?
What is WCHA? Google says "Western Collegiate Hockey Association". Number 20 appears to be wearing a St. Olaf jersey. Is this the intended image?   Posted: 05/18/2022 16:08:07

Yes, those are the descriptions for a previous month's hockey picture. The description for this one should be "Oles safe at home." The St Olaf Oles played the Hamline Pipers in a baseball game earlier this spring. St Olaf made it past Hamline for the plate, and scored the run. Thank you for pointing out the error.   Posted: 05/19/2022 03:08:54

Nice action shot. You can see the ball not quite making the catcher's mitt as the runner is safe. Great capture.   Posted: 05/22/2022 18:28:04

You definitely caught this at the peak of the action. I might have tried to move left or right as the two players and the umpired are a little distracting.   Posted: 05/26/2022 16:25:46

Sorry, I suspect that this is baseball photo. It's not so popular in Europe, so I can't say anything about the action. A really don't know, why all the people here.
Sharp is just the back of Nr. 5. I don't think it was the goal of the capture.
