What attracts me to this photo during a Penn State-Nebraska game is not so much the action as it is the expressions on the players' faces as the Nebraska player makes a shot. The fact that all five Penn State players are in the frame makes it a bit unusual as well.

Yes, expressions are good. Sharp image and good colours. I just can't imagine, where the ball is going to fly.   Posted: 04/21/2024 03:02:02

Well done Carolyn. You have remarkably captured all players faces except the player throwing the ball. This fact gives the photo a sense of difference, lots of faces to examine to see if any variations occur. Some judges may say too busy too many faces but IMO this gives the photo that edge of appeal. Background is far enough away not to be a distraction.   Posted: 04/24/2024 02:05:06

There is no player close enough to the shooter to block her, with all members of the opposing team in the photo. The loss of the legs on the foreground figure is distracting. Still, the color and sharpness are good. All the players are smiling. Nice.   Posted: 04/28/2024 01:46:13

Well done. The good things: Lots of faces, players are sharp, nicely denoised, the background is not distracting, and the composition is pleasing. Is there any way to show more legs and feet?   Posted: 04/30/2024 02:32:38
