Last Saturday I returned to my sports arena after a 3 month absence for a local soccer match between two of Melbourne’s suburban teams Manningham Juventus v Ringwood SC. Here we see busy action in the penalty area after a cross from corner kick. The Manningham Juventus goalie did get a hand to the ball but?


Camera Canon 5D Mk III, Lens Canon EF 100-3000mm, focal length 100 mm, F5.6, 1600/1, ISO 1600. Lightroom Auto, Cropped. It was a very overcast day and I took my FF camera which was the right choice.

As a side issue or perhaps major issue these two clubs are wearing the traditional colours of their ethnic origins Manningham Juventus the black and white of Juventus and Ringwood the Dutch colours orange their former name Wilhelmina. Manningham even still retains the Juventus name.

It seems, that ball goes upwards, so I don't expect Goal.

Is the kicker in the uncropped version?
