About the Image(s)

The Magic Ice Gallery in Svolvaer, Norway, serves cold drinks in icy glassses, as visitors walk around giant ice sculptures in subzero temperatures! I kept the image dark because the feeling of the gallery is vivid color shining out of the darkness of the rooms. It is a very fun unique experience that my husband and I enjoyed very much on our trip on Hurtigruten's Coastal Express cruise.

In post processing I brought up the shadows and lightened both people, also took down the highlights caused by the overhead spotlights on some of the glasses. I used Topaz filter to slightly sharpen and to denoise the image.
